Step 1: Orientation meeting
Our initial meeting will consist of a question and answer session. We explain
how a website will assist you in your business. We discuss your target audience
and how to approach them through the the website. During this meeting, we
also discuss the solution to selling your products online. We discuss the
different options and our recommendation to you. We also discuss other media
needs and how we can help you meet those needs.
Step 2: Quote
Meeting
Before the quote meeting, you will receive a quote
through email, fax, or personal delivery. We meet with
you after you have had time to review the quote and discuss
options.
Step 3: Project Approval / Design meeting
We will meet to sign a contract to start the project. During this meeting,
we also ask you about sites that you have visited and why you like or dislike
them. Site navigation and its effectiveness
with the user is also discussed. We also discuss media that you
may have developed, so that we can design a site consistent with your other
media.
Step 4: Design approval meeting
After the initial design is finished, we meet with you to discuss the design.
We discuss any changes you would like to see made to the initial design.
However, if the initial design does not meet your needs that were discussed
in the orientation and design meetings, we will develop a completely new
design. At this point, we will meet again to make sure we are on the right
track. Any changes you may have for the final design will be addressed.
An approval signature is required to move the project to production.
Step 5: Production
This process includes building the actual web pages
based on the approved design. You provide content
in the form of text, pictures, video, etc. The various
formats is discussed with you.
Step 6 : E-commerce
Since the core pages will be developed in the production stage, in
this stage, the shopping cart system will be developed and integrated into
the web pages developed in the production stage.
Step 7: Domain name and hosting
At this stage, we prepare to make the site live on the Internet. We assist
you in choosing and purchasing a domain name. Once the domain name has been
purchased, we assist you in setting up the hosting for your site.
Once hosting has been established, the email accounts are set up. At the
end of this stage, if you are ready, we will upload the site to the hosting
location and your site will be live.
Step 8: Search engine optimization
Once the site has been live for a few weeks, we meet with you to discuss strategies
on your site being found on the major search engines. We discuss keywords
and descriptions that will be used on your site to attract search engines.
We also discuss our techniques on getting your site listed in a search
by a potential customer. Additional search engine optimization services are
also discussed.
Step 9: Monthly maintenance and
updates
Once the website has been completed, we discuss with you your need for site
updates and costs based on this analysis. We also discuss your
options for updating your site yourself, if you wish to do so.
